Barcode Receipt Generator FAQ

Does the receipt barcode actually scan?

The barcode is generated in CODE128 format, which is the standard format used by most retail receipt printers. It will scan with standard barcode readers. The barcode encodes your transaction ID or any custom text you enter.

Can I set a custom barcode number?

Yes. By default the barcode uses your transaction ID, but you can type any number or text into the Barcode Text field and the barcode will update instantly in the live preview.

What barcode format is used?
